Our Story
Hello, we’re so glad you’re here!
We’re Rose, John, Milo, and Georgia. Our family has been growing food, flowers, and a love for gardening for more than 20 years.
What began as a simple desire to grow our own food has become a daily rhythm we treasure. Everything at our stand, the vegetables, flowers, and eggs, are grown or raised by our own hands, right here in our Los Osos garden.
Feeding our family with fresh, seasonal food has been a big part of our lives. When the garden gives us more than we need, we’re grateful to share that abundance with our neighbors and community in this farmstand.
Our stand may be small, but it holds a big place in our hearts. Whether you’re picking up something for dinner, choosing a bouquet, or simply stopping by, we hope you find a little joy here.

FERTILITY
Beyond “Organic” ♥︎ Grown with Love
In our garden, we are not certified organic, but we hold ourselves to a standard that goes beyond simply avoiding synthetic chemicals. We follow no-till practices and are committed to building living soil through compost applications, cover cropping, and compost teas, both aerated and passive.
This is our garden, and this is the food our family eats.
Our fertility program includes:
Cal Poly Organic Compost — balanced soil nutrition and the backbone of our fertility program
Organic Langbeinite — potassium, magnesium, and sulfur, applied as a topdress
Organic Bone Meal — phosphorus and calcium, applied as a topdress
Composted Chicken Manure — gentle nitrogen, buried into the soil
Actively Aerated Vermicompost Tea — soil microbiology support, applied as a soil drench
We never use synthetic chemicals, ever.
For pest management, we rely only on garlic juice, Safer Soap, Bacillus thuringiensis, neem oil, and spinosad when needed. All weeds are removed by hand or hoe, keeping our garden, home, and produce clean and healthy.
